History
The Office of the Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, formerly the same unit as the Office of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, which was developed from Administrative office. The office originally established with the opening of the university in 1972, is responsible for the building affairs, and all printing material. Later, the office has developed the scope of services to support for teaching and other administrative tasks and to be responsible for printing all kinds of document, teaching materials, examination, responsible for the building work, and also the request for operating the new education course, security work, legal work, maintenance & repair work, and including HR. Due to more complex tasks, in the year 1975, the new organization was organized by separating the HR office.

Later, in 1988, some education standard services were divided into academic departments. And in 1988 The administrative section has been elevated to a "Office" named "Office of the Administrative Assistant" which later changed its name to "Office of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs" and in 2010 transferred the security work to the office of Student Affairs until year 2013, the security work was transferred back to the Office of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs.

In 2017 the Office of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs consists of 8 departments, 1 section which serving both campuses, there are a total of 396 personnel, divided into 147 staff, 136 university staff and 113 outsource employees. It is quite large organization with various responsibilities. The university therefore re-organized the organization on June 1st, 2017 by establishing the Office of Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, then divided the legal department, department of teaching materials, and the information center and nursing department to be a subordinate unit. And move the security department to be under the Office of Human Resource Management.
Core Business
- Providing services affairs which are provide legal services, transactions and activities to support the university's main mission that may be affected by the law
- Benefits affairs which are encouraging the university to receive the benefits that are legally required by the contract and according to the main mission of the university

In order for the operation to be in accordance with the objectives of the organization, office of the Vice President for Legal and Privilege Affairs, therefore organizing departments to be responsible for various tasks. To cover the core business of the organization as follows;
